Will the democracy be still existing in the next decades? What's your opinion?

It is generally assumed that

It is generally assumed that electronic cryptography benefits democracy because it can be instrumental in protecting free speech, which is considered a cornerstone for democracy. The author argues, however, that a close look at some aspects of democratic theory suggests that matters are not really as clear-cut. The fact that encryption can be abused in many ways also poses a threat to democracy. This paradox is examined in detail.

Future

In my opinion , in the future the government will be a sort of dictatorship mixed with communism. The state will control everything with CCTV and because of the recession more people will turn to socialist parties especially in the old eastern states such as Romania, Bulgaria and it has even happened in germany where 50 percent voted socialisst parties in the former gdr state brandenburg.

democracy

I think that it is an important thing to understand also if now is democracy existing. Democracy in greek means "popular government", but often that isn't what are happening in our countries.
I think democracy will be existing in the next decades if medias will be free from a political point of view, and if people will continue to be interested in their citizen's life.

yeah, but do you think it's

yeah, but do you think it's possible to have media which are objective and free from political influances ??? In my opinion every channel has some defined political views, some because of their connections with politicians, businessmen etc. If we can notice that some of them are biased, present only those facts, which are, hm let's say, comfortable , there is no threat for democracy.

In my opinion democracy is

In my opinion democracy is the best form of state created, even if it has a lot of problems. Nowadays democracy is not in danger, people are in danger: we care only to survive, to have a quiet existence, democracy can work if we care about the nation, not simply about our self.
One other problem is that we can’t even take care about our self, we believe in everything we hear on television, without thinking if it can be really truth or not.

Democrasy is powerful

I believe that democracy will remain a universal political system as long as wars do not break out and generally if world peace at a minute scale is maintained. History has proved that democrasy is a resilient political system and that's why only politically fragmented countries face the danger of having their governments overthrown.

Most of us are living in

Most of us are living in democratic countries but we should start a worldwide discussion of how to help people who dont. In Europe we trained different systems of goverments. We had Reich and it finished catastrofical and we had Communism which also didnt bring anything good. In Poland 20 years ago we started the revolution. We should think of coutries like China which are still beyond the Iron Courtain. I think that what is scaring is the fact that they develop in very short time and in the future China may become more powerful than Russia and USA together. We must answer today do we really need another Cold War or III World War ? Maybe the "Wind of Changes" will come to China in the nearest future but shouldnt we help them ? I think that the easy way that non democratic countries develop and how their propaganda show the improvement and impact on people lives is the biggest threat to modern democracy.
