The Database Euro
Database Europe in NRWpe in NRW presents more than 900 persons and institutions dealing with European affairs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Using the database, you get to know who does what for Europe in NRW. Find contacts, exchange information and identify possible cooperation partners quickly and easily.

The Forschungs-Initiative NRW in Europa (FINE), settled at the University of Düsseldorf, is in charge of the database. You can find the database here.



Aachen Emotionaachen-emotion.com: new website of aachen city council
After close coordination with universities and colleges, the new website of aachen city council www.aachen-emotion.com went live on 5th January 2010 for the scientists and academics worldwide and anyone else who is interested.

The website uses a mix of articles, personal accounts, 400+ images and a whole raft of audio and video files to engage members of the science community at an emotional level, lifting the lid on what it’s like to live in Aachen.
 


UNRIC
The main task of UNRIC is to spread the UN message, raise awareness and create understanding of issues relating to the UN’s objectives in the region of Western Europe, and is located in Brussels, Belgium. UNRIC provides documents, information, press-kits, and more with the intention to reach out to all segments of society.

The UNRIC websitepresents basic information on the UN, its structure, goals, and main areas of work. Moreover, it gives information about the most important UN related events, activities and observances, as well as the programs of UNRIC and the UN family in the region.


IWRM LogoOn November 24-25, 2010 the conference IWRM Karlsruhe 2010 with an additional exhibition will take place for the first time. During two days, international experts from science, economy and public organisations meet in the Kongresszentrum Karlsruhe, in order to consolidate the global level of knowledge and findings about 'Integrated Water Resources Management' (IWRM).
